ZTA Lining Plate Introduction

Zirconia Toughened Alumina Ceramics also named ZTA ceramics, zirconium oxide ceramics, which is white, corrosion resistance, chemical stability,a special combination of aluminum oxide and zirconium oxide. Yiho Ceramics technicians mix high purity alumina with zirconia by the process of transformation toughening, making composite ceramic liner more tougher, harder, wear resistance over alumina alone, and lower cost than zirconia.

YIHO engineered ceramic solutions provide a complete range of ceramic wear resistant tiles (9.0 on the Mohs scale) that extend the wear life of your mineral processing equipment in the mining, mineral extraction and power generation industries.

These ceramic tiles provide a hard wearing solution in the mining industry, with vibrating feeders, transfer chutes, cyclones, pipes and other traditional "high-wear areas".

Engineered tiles are pressed with chamfered sides and then cut precisely while still in their green state, to the required shape. This ensures that gaps between the tiles are minimized and wear of the tiles is reduced as chipping is eliminated.

ZTA Lining Plate Application

ZTA (Zirconia Toughened Alumina) wear-resistant tiles are known for their exceptional hardness, strength, and wear resistance. These tiles are commonly used in various industrial applications where abrasion and wear are prevalent. One such application is as cyclone lining in industries that deal with materials containing abrasive particles, such as mining, mineral processing, cement manufacturing, and coal-fired power plants.

Cyclones are devices used to separate solid particles from gas or liquid streams based on their density and centrifugal force. In these cyclone systems, the abrasive particles present in the fluid can cause significant wear on the cyclone walls, leading to frequent maintenance and replacement. ZTA wear-resistant tiles are a great choice for lining the cyclone's interior due to their advantageous properties:

High Hardness: ZTA tiles combine the hardness of zirconia and the toughness of alumina, providing superior resistance to abrasion and wear.

Wear Resistance: The exceptional wear resistance of ZTA tiles allows them to withstand the impact of abrasive particles, extending the cyclone's lifespan and reducing downtime for maintenance.

Chemical Resistance: ZTA tiles are highly resistant to chemical corrosion, making them suitable for applications where aggressive chemical environments are involved.

Thermal Stability: ZTA tiles can withstand high temperatures, making them suitable for cyclones used in high-temperature processes.

Reduced Maintenance Costs: By using ZTA wear-resistant tiles as cyclone lining, the frequency of repairs and replacements is minimized, leading to reduced maintenance costs and increased efficiency of the industrial process.

Lightweight: Despite their excellent mechanical properties, ZTA tiles are relatively lightweight compared to other heavy materials, making them easier to handle during installation.

Overall, ZTA wear-resistant tiles' application as cyclone lining can significantly improve the performance and longevity of cyclones in industries dealing with abrasive
